Site Visit – le Silo

Taken around the site by Emilie Porleime from C+T Architectures, based in Marseille.

Looking at how they are re-appropriating the old grain silo on the port and creating a new concert hall.

Musicatreze




The artists at Musicatreze come and rehearse in Marseille for a week or so at a time and then go to other cities to perform/record.

Rehearsal room is held in an old converted structure. This reinforces the idea of a hard urban front and a softer, less formal courtyard interior.
